The Harpoons are a young, R'n'B-inspired Melbourne pop band.
Brothers Henry and Jack Madin write short, catchy tunes and long soulful ballads, accompanied by the delicate yet powerful vocals of Bec Rigby and backed by the vibealicious drumming of Martin King (Oscar + Martin).
The Harpoons' debut, Faith, out now on Gaga Digi, is four tracks of immediate, irrepressibly alive pop –– inspired by classic 60s pop, but possessed of a spark and a charm all its down.
The Harpoons continue to play every tiny venue in town and are currently planning the release of a new single, to compliment their growing selection of recordings found on various blogs and music journals.
